I thought I would come to the experts for some advice. My wife has been using an iPhone for the past 2 years, and before that she was on a dumbphone.
After 2 years of her asking me to help her fix something, only to hear me say "Sorry, I don't touch Apple products", I've convinced her that getting an Android phone is the way to go.
But, what phone should she get? I have the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. I love it, and would love to get her on a Galaxy S3, but I think it's just too big for her.
Preferably, I would want a 4.0+ phone that has expandable memory (rules out Nexus) and a replaceable battery (rules out all of Motorola).
Any thoughts?
Thanks for your help

From what I hear, the DNA is supposed to have the best radio of all the Droids that Verizon has released thus far. What impresses me most from the reviews I've read though is its battery efficiency for an Android. For a phone with only a 2020 mAh battery, it lasts a considerable amount of time. Considering its screen resolution and pixel density, it's quite the impressive "green" device.
I am thrilled with the DNA battery life and radios. I would personally vouch for the DNA as having the best radios and being the most efficient phone in Verizon.

<--- Darling Bride has the Galaxy S3 and loves it. I personally wouldn't have the thing: I love my Nexus way too much. But for her, the big screen and usability are just right for her. I installed SwiftKey 3 for her and she flipped out with how much more quickly she can text people.
It really comes down to HOW your wife intends to use the phone. There are plenty of capable smartphones out there, and they do the same thing in different ways. A trip to a corporate store where she can play with various live phones would be a great investment in time

Everyone has their own reasons for loving one phone over another. Mine are that the Nexus bootloader is unlocked and I can modify it any way I want. It is stock vanilla Android and doesn't have TouchWiz skinned over it. My wife's S3 is still on 4.0, while I am ROMmed up to 4.2.1.Those are the primary reasons
I was thinking about getting the Razr M but I'm not due for an upgrade until Aug. of this year...not sure what will be out then! I'm also thinking about paying full price for the Nexus 4 and switch to T-Mobile.
