Default Getting different refurbished phone

Guys -i'm in a corporate plan. Has anybody had success with getting verizon to send in another refurbished phone instead of the one you own? I'm having hardware problems with the nexus and would like to get them to send me a S2 or S3

Thanks

Usually they will send you a device around the same time your device was released, so I don't know if they will give you an S3, but maybe an S2...unfortunately though, the S2 is not available on Verizon.

I would suggest to try, from what I have heard, results are mixed. Some people catch a break, while others get stuck with worse devices.

It is all based off of inventory and stock. Are you authorized on the corporate account? If not you are going to have to have a single point of contact per the corporate account call into business support and have your device available. Tech support is going to have to trouble shoot your device before any offers of replacement are made. They are also going to look to see if your device is still in it's manufacturers warranty and or insurance.

Rule of thumb, if they determine you have a manufacturers defect, are qualified for a replacement they will replace it with a like make and model. If one isn't available they will replace it with something similar. All based off of inventory and stock.

Plus this isn't really based off of VZW. It's based off of Samsung and what they provide to VZW for replacements. They have to exhaust all options for the device you signed up for and replace it with what you have. That way they have available stock for those who bought the S3 in case they need to have it replaced. It's not fair to a S3 user to not have a device available for replacement because VZW/Samsung gave out the last device to a Nexus user. Plus your Manufacturers warranty pretty much states all of this.

Guys
I was able to get someone from verizon call me and offer the razr 4g and incredible 4g as replacements for the nexus. I wonder if I should even consider these options or just stick with the nexus. Which of the above options is a better phone?

Thanks

That depends, why are you getting a replacement. If I had to pick one of those 2, I'd pick the incredible because it's newer, with a better processor and would achieve better battery life. I still have my nexus and I'm clinging to it for dear life because I love it so much; so I might be a bit biased.
