Whats Up Everyone? Im new, but i am really considering taking the leap to this thing. Getting more comfortable with the whole rooting/modding scene. Question is where can i buy a g-tab for a reasonable price at this point? Amazon Has it for some weird rediculous inflated price (i kinda liked the $399 price point) and sears no longer carries it. Also, do you guys think i should grab one of these or just wait for the Adam?
eBay has some in the $200-$300 range. They probably don't know about rooting and are disgusted with it. Their loss is your gain!
BTW Welcome to the forums!
+1
My friend just bought one on ebay. First thing that happened was a bunch of force closes...he gave it to me and I fixed it for him in less than 30 mins. He got it for $250. Lucky bastard.

damn i paid a $100 more then that ...i hope after rooting i wont and actually getting to use it i wont feel so bad...
Lol. most of us paid $150+ more and we still feel we got our money's worth. He just got lucky. A lot of people wait for it to show up at a sears outlet because it sells for $279 when it's available at the outlet. But it's so hard to come by.
Hi, Offidepot has it for $379.99. Grab it. I bought from Sears last week for 379.00 with Doking station in mail in rebet. I rooted and installed VEGAN rom. It's just flying like jet. Everything is running flawlessly except gmaps are not showing my location. May be some setting issue. Nothing to do with tablet.

No GPS sensor in the g-tab would explain why gmaps won't show your location.

Ummh..
Before I had Archos 101 which showed my position with WIFI. That also doesn't have GPS sensor. I read couple of queries on google maps regarding My postiion is not working for them also.
I think it depends upon ISP also to let apps know position. G Tab has setting whether not to allow apps to check potiion via WIFI.
