Default Preferred keyboard?

I like the original android keyboard, but I am slightly annoyed by the lack of auto-text or spell check. Is there an aftermarket keyboard that you're using that works well and has decent auto-text?

I use the Gingerbread Keyboard but I know people use Swype. I personally hate Swype, haha. Better keyboard and Smart keyboard are good ones too. Multitouch and T9 works really well.
