Default Mobile ID "The Essentials"

Is there a way to avoid downloading this? It automatically downloads and installs. If anyone has any ideas, tips, tricks concerning on how to accomplish this (on a non-rooted phone), your assistance would be appreciated.

If you go into settings -> apps and clear the data it will stop downloading. If you are rooted you can freeze or uninstall it with Titanium Backup or similar app.
