No, your number is tied to your account. Once the number is ported the account is closed.

Just thought of this. What if I got the cheapest PayLo plan. I could and swapped the numbers, returned the phone, and then ported my number. I think that would then leave me with my $25 plan on a different number ready to sell.

Once the number from the $25 a month account is removed the account is closed regardless of how it is done.
