Default Evo V OTA

The ota addressing the radio interface shortage error message has started to get pushed out finally. It's being released in waves so don't worry if you haven't received it yet.

Won't it also improve signal and speed?

It may improve your signal strength but speeds should be pretty much the same, that's what Network Vision is for.

I was called by Sprints executive tech support team and ota just means over the air, it gets pushed to the phone and installed automatically as opposed to you having to manually download the file yourself.

Oh, well still waiting. My evo still does it. It's very irritating.

Has everyone received the update yet?

And if so, has it actually worked?

I do not believe this to be true. I still have the same problem.

Periodically go into Settings >System Update >HTC Software Update and see if it's available. Got nothing to lose by occasionally running the Update check if you have not received it yet.
