Yeah, I know. My point was it was not recommended to use this kernel with 3.1.0 per the initial post. I am using it.

I used the custom kernel for about a month (without setcpu), and it worked great. In fact, I can't really tell the difference in performance between the stock and custom kernels, other than a slight stutter with the custom kernel when waking up the phone.

The main (huge) difference for me between the two is the stock v4 kernel charges very fast. Oh, and the phone has been rock solid.

Just flashed Virtuous 3.1. Completely painless; no double icons or anything. Only goof-up was when I used Virtuous Buddy to disable the cursed HTC Mail app (and its dreadful low memory message), unwittingly disabling Exchange activesync on the Dinc. Oops.

Undid that via Virtuous Buddy and we're back in business.
