Default Custom Recovery for CWM ( Handy if you lose yours, or happen to have CWM but forgot to backup. )

What's up guys. I had thought I bricked my Vitality the other night and couldn't get it back to stock with Odin since as far as I know no one has the stock stuff for the Vitality, only the admire... And the trick mentioned in http://androidforums.com/samsung-vitality/504425-cricket-vitality-rooted-tethering.html left me with no data, even after *228... So that left me in a bit of a pickle when for whatever reason the only backup I had in CWM gave me a MD5 checksum error. ( Not sure what I did to cause that with the backup, probably something stupid.

Thankfully a guy over at the Cricket users forum, 154-4bdu114h, was kind enough to have a custom pre-rooted recovery the bloatware removed. Since I already had CWM, I just recovered the backup per usual and had everything back in working order.

So, in short.

Make sure you already have CWM before hand. Even if you somehow soft bricked your phone you should be able to push CWM to your phone with Odin anyway, and then install this recovery. It's not stock, but until that's around ( if it is feel free to share ) this is a great option.

For Odin and CWM

[Odin] Clockworkmod Recovery - Not compatible with Rom Manager yet

For the custom, pre-rooted recovery with bloatware removed:

And link to his thread at Cricket Users as well for credit. I want to take nothing from him as he saved me big time. Link: Custom recovery!

AGAIN THIS IS JUST A PRE-ROOTED/BLOATWARE REMOVED STOCK ROM BACKUP. Nothing special about it. Just a great way to save yourself a brick.
