Default [ROM] TweakNation 4.1.2 VER2.1 Updated {12/26/13}

Quote:
TweakNation is a simple ROM that i've designed personally for me until now. Its made for speed, and should be able to handle anything you throw at it as well as keeping Android's simple plain design. Now this ROM doesn't have major mods such as extended power menu, init.d support and so on but im releasing this to the public now so that when i have time to work on major mods/tweaks and release them in a separate thread, you guys can flash it right over my TweakNation ROM.

Features:
• 4.1.2 B13 Based
• Deodexed
• OTA Support
• Build.prop Tweaks
• Face unlock Support
• 17 Lidroid Toogles
• JB Battery Percentage
• Rom Stats Support
• Bloatware Removed
• Powered by DTM's Serenity kernel
• More that i can't remember.

Whats not working:
4 Quickpanel toogles
Go to Settings app and scroll down to the bottom. Select power widget and then select Widget Buttons. Uncheck the following= reboot Action, LED Flashlight, USB Connection Mode, USB Debugging, & Hotspot aka Wifi AP since the Rom doesn't currently have that support. The Statusbar will FC but will come back within 30 seconds, there you go all is good and there shouldn't be any more problems
Slayer72 and RicanFlow37 like this.

does these toggles leave a notification icon in the status bar or is it something like the notifications in 4.2 where its built into the framework and is there without a separate app to install?

Built in my friend. It's the only reason why I like and ported it. Hate those crappy ones in the play store.

Guys chevenlol was nice enough to port this over for us on his free time... there's no need to ask for ETAs and status reports...this is still in the works. It is a pretty recent thread too...give it a little time and he will post results when it is r ready for release.

It's obvious that he's doing this on his own time. I don't understand why people get so pissy at the simplest things posting in the wrong forum or what not. We are just really excited about his work and the TWO post about when it's going to arrive should be motivation and make him want to finish it. Plus it's been a while since he responded so we just wanted to know if he needs help or if he gave up. Will this work if there's bugs preventing this. Don't take my snapping back as a rude gesture I just hate seeing post by people getting mad at small things.

On another note if you need me to beta test I'm more than willing my good sir. Anything to help out

no factory data reset needed? just wipe cache and dalvik cache? and usb debugging cant be enabled or do you mean using the quick toggle to do that isnt working?

Always wipe data/reset before caches for a new ROM installation.

Follow the what's not working thread. Go to settings and enter power widget app. Uncheck the ones that are listed in the what's not working thread.

If you leave them enabled your status bar will fc. I would suggest wiping your device as well.

hey chevanlol360 i know perhaps you might be a very busy , maybe porting or something else , but i was wondering if you have had or anyone in this thread has had any problems with your phone charging ? everything was working well perfectly fine before i installed this rom , i am not saying the rom is the problem . but ever since i installed this rom , my phone doesnt want to charge, it shows the front light , light up red like its charging and it even shows it in the lockscreen but it doesnt charge the battery it still stays on the same percent. the only way to charge it is if i connect the charger to the phone and have it connected to the power source and then reboot the phone while everything is connected.
i ordered a battery about a few days ago , maybe its the battery . im still waiting for it but ill try to reinstall the rom , maybe it installed wrong or maybe is the battery but thank you for the rom , smooth as butter ! love it <3

9/10 times when it comes to issues with phones charging and custom roms its usually the phone/battery thats the issue.

One time out of ten it's battery calibration.... if you charge while the phone is off, does it charge?

you can probably use the b11 voicemail app, and double-posting doesn't help anyone

b11_visual_vm.zip | by superr for Warp Sequent

This is not flashable. It is just the apk zipped up.

Thank you sir.

Noticed every so often that when I turn my data off using the power Widget it will turn itself back on later on is this a known issue or just my phone? Other than that this rom kicks ass

Working on an update, nothing new just a few things to help the system perform better than its doing now and re-adding back 1 or 2 stock apps that i believe needs to be in the system. Maybe Xposed Framework will come in the update too. You will receive the update via OTA and will be able to download it straight from the app. I'm looking to drop it Saturday or Sunday afternoon so keep your eyes out for now
