hi

got a wildfire from vodafone, heard a lot of stuff that you can do to them.

How To: Root the HTC Wildfire (Unrevoked Method) | TheUnlockr would this be a good guide to follow and does this mean "Debranding" the phone

also what are the best unlocking sites in the uk for the phone

Rooting and debranding are not the same.

Rooting is the process of gaining root access to your phone. Superuser permissions as in Linux Or just think Computer Administrator on Windows.

Debranding is removing the carrier branded OS and replacing it with a generic OS
