Blush rooted, now ota 2.2 wont install... HELP

i rooted my wildfire with unrevoked, now my ota 2.2 wont install, and i cant flash any custom roms either as they wont work, i need some help before i stamp the wildfire to phone hell.

You can install it on rooted phone (not OTA, bud download leaked update):
Install Official Android 2.2 Froyo Update On HTC Wildfire

Second option is to flash stock ROM, the you'll be able to install OTA updates:

thanks but how do i know what shipped rom to install, as i tried one lastnight and it failed to install because it was wrong?? thanks

The problem here will be that now that you have rooted and played around enough, you will be mostly having that ClockworkRecovery or something similar.

OTA won't install on custom recovery. You will need to ahve Stock Recovery. You can do this flashing the recovery.img file in the update.zip through fastboot.

Just an FYI, you should never accept OTA updates on a rooted device.

To get it back to stock, you need to use an RUU. the RUU has to have a build number above what yours is.

Post your build number here (from about phone) and we can find you the RUU if its available.

Hey hi,

I'm using HTC wildfire and Sometime back i rooted my phone with unrevoked 3, however, i'm now facing some performance issues and need to send this back to service center for repair and therefore want it unrooted to original conditions.

My current phone details are:

firmware version: 2.1
Baseband: 13.45.55.24H_3.35.15.31
kernel version: 2.6.29-c9472fc1
Build number: 1.25.720.1 CL227575
Software number: 1.25.720.1

Please help me to unroot this phone...!!!!!!!!!!!!!
