HTC wildfire won't update to 2.2 from 2.1 !!!! HELP!!!

I have a HTC Wildfire red and it isn't updating like the normal black one!!! I have checked the updates in settings but it doesn't pick anything up! I need the wifi hotspot function as this is on the update. Please help!!!

Default

root it and flash a custom rom on it, wildpuzzle v.08 is awesome!
