Wildfire Mobile broadband

Hi,
How do I use my HTC wildfire with
android v 2 .2 for broadband on my
pc?
I read that it has to do with the usb
teathering which I have but I have no
idea what to do or how. I have
Windows 7 on my pc. please help.

the easiest way to do it with froyo is to use wifi hotspot and connect wirelessly.
all apps, wifi hotspot, you will get a short tutorial of how to connect

or if you want to tether, when you connect via usb you will see charge, sync, disc drive, if you scroll down you will see usb tethering, then go to your networks on pc and select htc

I have plugged it into my pc via. usb and selected tethering and nothing happens

you then need to look in networks on your pc.
have a read of your user manual on your sd card, you could tether with 2.1, instructions are the same
