As this is my 1st post in your forum I would like to thank you all for your very useful feedback and of course the development team of this ROM.
After using wildfire s almost one year without rooting it and struggling with the low internal memory, i finally decided to root and updt my mob with a custom rom as well..
As a result, I'm now with almost 80-85mb free in my internal mem and I have already installed more apps than I ever had so far

One tip though, DO NOT check for s/w update after u installed the rom. As soon as you try to install the update that will free you another 14Mb or so, the phone won't boot..U just take off the battery, put it back and it will normally boot without installing the update.
Maybe this is sth that is meant not to do, nevertheless I thought that someone could have the same problem.

No, don't flash it or you'll lose data and sms EVEN IF YOU GO BACK TO STOCK. You can fix it but it's a pain in the a@! I learned the hard way....

Hi, My Wildfire S is very unstable on 806Mhz. I could not lower frequency after phone boot up. Most of the time freezes. Is there any other way to lower frequency. I think he can handle 768Mhz without any problems.

Hallo disciplexone,

I tried your stock ROM but it is unstable and crashes regularly (sometimes after hours or only after days). And this only because I decreased the cpu rate to 480 MHz. (otherwise I could not even boot it properly)
I reinstalled it (with TeamWin recovery) several times. No chance!

I cannot imagine that it runs stable on your WFS. I am quite sure that there is a bug of the memory management in the kernel 'RUU Marvel S' !!
Actually it is NOT the SD card or Data2SD !

Do you have any idea...
* what can be the reason?, or
* if there is an updated stable running version?, or
* if there is a tool that I can use to test to find out the problem?, or
* if there is another fitting kernel I can exchange this one with?

My telephone identity says: 'HTC Wildfire S A510e'.
My SD ard partitions are well configured (e.g. all are primary, etc.).
Does it might help to use the 'cake' kernel? I have read anywhere about it...

Thank you so much for any useful advice!

Best wishes to you.

Rebooting issue can be caused by kernel if your device can't be overclocked at max 806mhz you can try to lower it to default 600Mhz or 737Max and min 245Mhz, if it doesn't boot you can use an init.d script to automatically adjust freqs on boot.

reboot issue will also occur in data2sd, if your memory card is to low or to high, class 4 sdcards is fine to use and higher but does not support very fast sdcards. try not installing link2sd or data2sd first to diagnose the problem.

yes you can try to flash other kernels
