Install Instructions
-boot to cwm recovery
-wipe data/factory reset
-wipe cache
-advance-wipe dalvik cache
-install zip from sdcard
-choose romzip then flash
-reboot, wait until fully booted
-(optional reboot again to cwm install
data2sd get it from my other rom thread,
requires SDCARD partitioning same as
link2sd. Follow Instructions carefully.

and am i right in thinking that if using data2sd, you don't need to do the re-odex guide? that's just for link2sd users? or did i mis-read that?

many thanks for your data2sd by the way, it's the only data2sd script i've ever managed to get working on my wildfire s, all others are either too laggy, or result in bootloop.

Maybe adreno 200 upgrade does not include in this rom. My 3D graphics score in antutu benchmark is just about 500

I dunno but I think this new RUU update has new gpu drivers to, but you can try flashing updated adreno drivers, and post here if it works. NOTE: Do a nand backup before testing or copy existing driverss from rom to the adreno zip to go back. If glitches appear.

Here You go:

before you begin, ensure that you have jdk installed on your pc. This guide screen wakes using volume key

1. Download baksmali and smali (google for downloads)
2. Copy and transfer android.policy.jar (system\framework folder) from your phone to the desktop. it's
also a good idea to backup the file just in case something goes wrong and you need to revert back.
3. Unzip android.policy.jar and extract classes.dex file to the desktop.
4. From the command line, navigate to the desktop and type "java -jar baksmali.jar classes.dex". It
will create a directory named "out".
7. Open KeyguardViewMediator.smali (found in out/com/android/internal/policy/impl/) with wordpad.
8. Scroll down and find ".method private isWakeKeyWhenKeyguardShowing(I)Z".
9. Delete cases 0x18 and 0x19 in the switch statement towards the bottom of the method. Save.
10. From the command line, type "java -jar smali-1.2.8.jar -o classes.dex out". You now have a new
classes.dex that has your modification.
11. Open android.policy.jar file on your desktop with winrar and insert the new classes.dex file.
12. Copy the new file to your phone (system\framework folder, ensure that you set proper permissions 644)
and reboot.
please note that i am not responsible if you mess anything up (although, the steps are pretty brickproof).

If WIFI not working, do a full wipe before flashing, it might not extracted properly.

If you like V^6 supercharger download script from zeppelinrox thread and run it in script manager app, run as root and configure.

I've just flashed it - very nice! But I can't turn on the Root-mod in ES FileManager. The Thing ROM didn't have this moment! Why so???

Try Uninstalling ES File xplorer and redownload from market, btw I'll be flashing back my dcplx1 nand to see if it got that problem.

Cause it won't allow mount as root, only if it's in the system/app folder or root is not installed.

New kernel update, removed 320Mhz add 19Mhz and 825Mhz and just some little adjustments.

Use 825Mhz at your own risk, but it is at default at 122-806

Excuse me, disciplexone, but I think this ROM has a few problems. ES File Manager can't turn on the Root-mod (but says that it turned on the Root-mod), Root Explorer doesn't have this problem. Besides there is a problem with custom bootanimation, it works with lugs and freezes, I can't solve it! Maybe, there are some more problems, but I can't find it... Well, excuse me, but I prefer The Thing ROM.

First of all I didnt create ES file xplorer, I only use it to install apks renaem copy files, Thats why I put root explorer cause its best for deleting files, the rest I use ADB pusher 0.41 how can it have bootscreen lag when the bootanimation is so fast stock bootanim. Please reinstall rom wiping all cause even if you erase it all it will still have access to bootloader and recovery. You can even make it like an empty phone like a pc without windows or mac.

Touchscreen fix, fixes the famous bug in gameloft games first person shooter - look around infinite times even when running, stock one only 1 look while running then malfunctions. This is not a hardware fix if you have unresponsive lockscreen, it is your digitizer is faulty.

I'm very disappointed. After a lot of time installing it and reinstalling all my apps. All I have is the stock Rom with a few extra apps. And I have less internal memory than I had before.

As soon as I have time I'm going to restore my stock Rom from the backup.

Re-Odex Roms work with Link2SD and APPS2SD. You`d have to test Data2SD. I use APPS2SD.

extract systemui using winrar find the image that looks like a statusbar in mdpi folder then edit it in ps5 duplicate layer then adjust transparency delete original layer then save. open systemui.apk with winrar then drag it to mdpi folder. then push to phone.

Well, first of all I would like to appreciate you for your immense efforts on this ROM. I just love this ROM cos it has all the updates from HTC and a that special touch by you....
I just have one issue that I am unable to clear out myself so requesting your help. Whenever I flash DATA2SD into this ROM, it starts lagging. It lags hell of a lot after continuous usage. I have tried almost everything from formatting the card to ext2 1 GB . I am using 16 GB Class 10 card with your Data2SD script (Data2SDinstallerNXE2). Help me with this cos I love add applications.

Until I flash DATA2SD it works like a charm but after that it loses its heart. It even lags on the talk application and messaging application as well. I have tried using the kernel which is already in the ROM and have tried your CAKE series of kernels and Lycans series as well....
I would really appreciate you if you could help me :-)
