Default Looking for CM7 for a510c

So I've noticed the a510c (Virgin Mobile variant of the Wildfire S) seems to be getting the short end of the stick. The only roms for it are based on Sense, which I don't much care for. There are CM7 builds for the a510e (GSM variant) but nothing for the c. I've tried using one of the GSM builds and swapping out the kernel, which is reported to work by some people, but I can't get past the boot animation. My Google-fu has failed me, as I can't seem to turn up much of any development for this handset. I sure seems like the dev community is treating it like a red headed step child. Am I missing something? If anyone knows of a useable CM7 rom for it, that would be awesome. Or is this a case of "Sorry about your luck, kid!"?

There was a CM7 port for cdma over at xda but it was never fully functional. I last heard that it's been abandoned.

Thanks, I had found that one back in January before anyone realized he wasn't updating. I check his git hub, he pushed some changes about three days ago. He is working on it, but he isn't posting anything. I was really hoping someone else had picked up the torch with it. Honestly what we're after (wife's phone) is a decent rom with the CM7 theme engine. I can remove Sense if I need to.
