Since you've left it for that amount of time, there is probably a good degree of dust within the phone (well enough to cause a problem).
Have you thoroughly cleaned the outside, taken out the case and battery and cleaned the inside?
Its a good idea to vigorously blow inside the holes, but make sure you suck up all the saliva and excess moisture in your mouth first to prevent large water droplets traveling inside your Wildfire
Maybe rub the battery with your hands and put some heat into it, and keep your actual phone in a warm, dry place

When you charge it does the orange light appear??

Hi
thankyou for the reply the phone has been stuck in a draw all the time and has only been in the open since i tried to charge it up ( i left it plugged in for two days) there are no lights that come on at all. I have pressed the top button - i have held down the volume button and pressed the top but nothing happens, I will try give it a good clean today an see if that helps and let you know the outcome.

Ok kool, ill be waiting
Try not to charge after, the warmth may 'give life' to the internal components, i would charge it after a good hour or two
