Default Having Trouble Flashing ROM

Ok, I have been on hours trying to flash the new Cyanogenmod 7.1 Gingerbread 2.3.7 ROM to my X8, I rooted without any issues in around an hour due to downloads, would have been faster, but upon trying to flash the room using xRecovery I'm getting an MD5 mismatch which is irritating. I've looked around and I seem to need a NANDroid backup which I can't find anywhere and I can't make my own because cmd and SDK are both refusing to work as tutorials say they should. I can give more details upon request.

In summary: Need NANdroid backup to flash ROM with xRecovery without MD5 mismatch, having trouble. Help please.

Hi,

if you are new to this, you might want to try GingerXperia.
Cyanogenmod 7.1 Gingerbread 2.3.7 ROM requires flashing a specialized kernel which may be a bit complicated.

cheers
