Looking at possibly getting the Xoom 2 (XYboard), and I cannot find any information on whether Root has been achieved yet or not... There seems to be no development going on for this tab? Anyone know if this can be rooted the same was as the original Xoom? Or word on whether it has a locked bootloader or not? Like I said, I tried doing a search on here, Android Central, and XDA... XDA doesn't even have a Xoom2/XyBoard Forum yet.

JUST found this post, but I've still not decided whether or not I want to root yet. Will have a read, see what I think then let you know if I go ahead.

Has anyone unlocked the bootloader yet so we can flash custom roms?
