Default Play M4V

Here's the situation: My online class has live classrooms using Wimba. It uses a Java applet, which I can't get to work on the Xoom (not sure it's possible?). Anyway, the classrooms are also posted as mp4s. Is there any way to play these on the Xoom? Or at least convert them to a playable format on the Xoom? The problem being I won't have access to a PC at some points when I need to watch these.

Act 1 video player plays all of my mp4 video files. I think that's the preferred format for mobile devices anyway
