How to tether my xoom wifi with my incredible 2?

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question....

So I own a xoom wifi and I am trying to tether it to my HTC incredible 2. Do I need to root both of my devices in order for this to work, or do I only need to do so with one of the devices? Please help me. Thank you so much

What kind of thethering do you want to do? Are you trying to make it a hotspot or use the phone's 3g connection for internet?

The latter is possible with bluetooth tethering. Once connected, tap the settings icon and then the "use bluetooth internet" or something like that and voila!

Someone recommended PDANet to me and it works. Install on both phone and tablet, follow directions. My Xoom is Wi-Fi only (which is fine with me).
