I have A Sony Ericsson xperia mini and I was wondering if anyone could provide instructions on how to put sense and a newer version of android on it.

Well, I'd say you don't. First, you'd have to be rooted. Then you could flash a newer android rom, but I'd bet that sense will *not* work on a Sony Ericsson. In fact, I'd say that if you tried to do that, you'd brick your device. So you could try to flash a sense rom, but don't!

And you don't really need sense do you? The launcher itself is a bit heavy (I'd stick with Go Launcher or ADW), and if you need widgets check out Beautiful Widgets or beautiful clocks or whatever... and Android Pro Widgets is pretty nice. And frrreeeeeeee!

yeah.. unless someone has spent a lot of time.. trying to get all the small parts of sense to work on your hardware... I dont think it going to happen. that is a lot of work.

but if it is .. it would be located in that phone's forum. try looking over in XDA-developers website.

Sense is proprietary and I've not seen it work on non-HTC phones.

Only use ROMs specifically for your phone. Trying another brand or model is almost a guarantee to get a brick that cannot be recovered.

Good news is you can get pretty close to the same look and feel with various launcher and widget combinations - check out Beautiful Widgets and Fancy Widgets in the Market, for example.
