Default Can't boot in recovery mode Xperia Z1

So its a long story. I first rooted my z1, and something went wrong, my device was successfully rooted but when installing any super user application, it fails to update the binary thing, which led to not being able to control root apps.

Anyways i neglected this since root applications worked fine. Mainly, i began this whole process to install cyanogenmod. So i ran into unlocking my bootloader, and apparently, its the only thing that worked fine, but with one crazy problem. I CANT BOOT INTO ANY RECOVERY MODE. i tried installing apps which pressing volume buttons isn't necessary and still didnt work, it always reboot normaly, then i checked if i correctly unlocked my bootloader by trying another method, and it also was successful.

Whenever i try to install Cwm, it gives a "device is offline errror" I tried updating adb drivers and S... and tried different files with different methods and it also fails. I also tried flashing it through some applications on my xperia and laptop and it also fails. Doomed right?

I had hard time summing up all those problems and errors into one note by the way...
So, Where is the main problem which led to this mess?

Have you tried TWRP Recovery here.
TeamWin Projects - TWRP 2.7 - Sony Xperia Z | TeamWin
And use a Terminal Emulator here.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jackpal.androidterm&hl=en

Give this a try.

Don't try this, that recovery is for the Xperia Z, not the Z1.

The simplest way to install a recovery is to root using this: Easy Root Tool for various Xperia devices - XDA Forum (although if you are rooted, you can obviously skip this step)

Once rooted, install NUTs dual recovery here: [DEVDB][TWRP][PhilZ Touch][CWM] XZDualRecovery 2.7.1XX RC - XDA Forum

You can then use his NDR Utils app here to boot in to recovery: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.camber.ndrutils

How did you unlock the bootloader, via the official Sony Dev site or using Flashtool? (this: Flashtool | Xperia device flashing)

I unlocked my bootloader using both ways, but initially, it was the sony developement website which didn't warn me that it will wipe my device.

Anyway, concerning the recovery mode link, i don't know which one should i choose from the four options.
1 Nut.ftf
2 Stripped.ftf
3-4 flashable zip files (2 versions)

and a last hint, the app you gave me its link, says "Unable to read ZXDR"
"Nut's xz dual recovery is required to boot into recovery"
and yeah i know its because i didn't install the NUT thing yet. Just wanted to inform you.
Thanks for the reply man!
hope it works

Default CWM recovery and TWRP recovery aren't supporting Z1

It's really pissing me off

TeamWin TWRP supporting all xperias including z2 and ignoring z1

https://www.clockworkmod.com/rommanager not supporting any xperia

is there any substitute?

I tried this http://******************/install-cwmtwrp-sony-xperia-z1-easy-process.html

scroll down to the (How to install CWM/.........)

I did everything as said, downloaded the files and plugged in the usb, it did reboot bootloader
and then when typing ( fastboot flash boot adv-stock-v3.img ) the second command, it gives a (waiting for device) and its stuck on this line.

what to do?

From the recovery link, head to NUTs download page here: -=- [NUT]'s XDA download page -=-

The file you want is this one: Z1-lockeddualrecovery2.7.154-BETA.installer.zip (23.99MB)

It's an exe/batch file ran from your PC which will install the recovery for you.

I would advise against using ROM Manager for anything tbh.

The 2nd "guide" you linked to is also full of nonsense, just ignore it.

I've linked to the recovery you need to use in your other thread.
