Maybe Google Now requires Jelly Bean TTS which is included in the Rom Those apps may have issues with JB

Hey Mobz I tried replacing that system apk file with the system using ES File Explorer and rebooted. Nothing changed. I even replaced it, rebooted into 4ext recovery, wiped cache and dalvik, booted up and still have the aosp settings and not the sense settings. What could I be doing wrong?

Default Hot?

So I've been running the new build since yesterday and all had been well. Until this afternoon. Got home and took my phone off the holster and brought it up closer to my face and that old familiar "hot plastic" smell wafted across my snout. Took off the case and noticed, on the back top left corner, it was SUPER HOT! like hurt my finger to touch it hot. I immediately did a battery pull and got the phone and battery in front of a fan to cool them down. Anyone else having this issue and if not, wtf could be causing this? Until using it to do this post, I left it sitting on my handrail with the screen off, of course, and not charging. And it's still getting hot. Ideas, suggs...

Haven't had that problem. Your CPU could be stuck wide open.

How would I remedy that? Just download set cpu or no frills and change the levels?

I haven't had any heat problems since I've switched an Extended Battery with Cover.........

Anyway its a Hardware Problem the phone usually gets hot around the Camera

You could try changing your Governor or Clock Settings but that would just lower the amount of Stress to the CPU

Lol I just switched back to the stick battery. One corner cracked when I dropped it so the bottom doesn't fit snug at the bottom. Getting 2 1900 mAh Anker batteries with external charger for $30 and a TPU case.

maybe a graph will help in some way, try battery spy, I would check navigation and any other intensive apps to make sure they're not still running, on previous devices I would sometimes not exit navigation properly, or a certain app called star chart would require a reboot after use or my phone would heat up something wicked.... My phones been great with battery running since six am and still at 81%

Yeah........ it slipped my mind

You can keep your data by backing up your data partition in your recovery then restoring it after you flash the update Should work like a charm

Also a question regarding downloading via 4G on the stock browser. Is there something stopping it from downloading? I just get the progress bar and it doesn't download.

Thanks for this update with the sense settings. I greatly appreciate it!

Unfortunately my computer at work is restricted but I just downloaded it using Opera mini via 4G and it completed in less than 10 minutes. It's downloadable via the stock browser but that only with the 3G service and we all know how long that would've took lol (I downloaded a 146mb album the other day via 3G at work and it took an hour and a half with full bars!!).

Thank you once again Mobz. You rock!

How can I do this in 4ext? Just backup data and then flash it? I am not seeing an advanced data restore.

Well, first off you have to go to Advanced Backup, then go to data. After flashing the update, then you go to Advanced Restore to restore the data.

Saves a lot of headache having to restore apps from Titanium Backup and getting your settings back.

- You have to select "Advanced Backup" then "Data" and perform the backup

- After you flash the Rom select "Advanced Restore" and restore "Data"

Your roms are awesome and I very much appreciate your hard work, I personally liked your earlier senseless versions much better. If possible in the near future could
make a version for the people who want the cleaner rom but with all the mod and performance updates that you have added to your lastest rom.

Question... I went to sleep last night with like 700mb on my sd card and I awake to see that I only have 20mb left. Any ideas as to what's eating my memory and is there an app to see what's using what? Thanks

I don't know if it's app related or how any app could do this but for some odd reason there was a duplicate of 5 of my aphex twin albums in a recycled folder on the root of my sd card. I used an app called disk usage and it showed me everything on my sd card. I recommend this app to everyone!

I installed the 2.25 version and I can not find a 4G setting or option anywhere. It's not in the quick settings menu and I can't find it in the regular settings either. I don't live in a city with 4G coverage, but I just want to make sure it's not turned on sucking up my battery looking for a non-existent signal.

EDIT: Did a fresh flash and all the settings are there. I don't know why it didn't work the first time. I even cleared cache, dalvik cache, and did a factory reset. Oh well, works now.

Try a Fresh Flash trust me the 4G Toggle should be in both the Quick Settings and the Sense Settings

I've got a bugged virgin mobile icon in the app drawer using sense

Also, multi-touch crashes almost any game. Asphalt, Hawx... temple run, all of them.
