I upgraded to 2.36, but the Messages icon in Holo Launcher is still green. It shows up blue in the recent apps menu, but I can't find a way to change it to blue in the launcher. All my other launcher icons are blue and it clashes. Also, my contacts synced with Facebook, but the display pictures did not. I've tried hitting the sync button in the Facebook app multiple times and the pictures still don't show up. On a side note, the wifi issues I had on 2.25 are gone and hopefully the bug where ringtones and notification sounds change back to stock is also fixed. Time will tell. Great update!

You have to turn off Holo Launcher's Icon Settings

I hope someone can answer me a question that's driving me crazy!

I bought an Anker Battery form Amazon. Upon receiving it I installed it in the phone and upon turning on the phone the battery indicator had an exclamation mark on it.
I plugged the charger in and the LED on the phone was turning yellow and then green.

I thought the battery was defective and returned it.

Well today I got yet another battery (from a used EVO 3D) and it's a OEM Sprint.

Same exact problems. Exclamation mark on the battery display and it will not charge with the green then yellow LED. I wiped the battery statistics thinking it would fix it but no luck.

The original battery that came with the phone is perfect.

Any ideas?

Maybe you just had bad luck with 2 batteries i myself use an Extended Battery and haven't had any issues when i made to switch from Stock to Extended

Wipe Everything including Battery Stats then Re-Flash the Rom and Calibrate your Battery

Hey is it safe to delete this com.android.providers.media folder? I could use that extra space and it keeps accumulating more space even though I'm not adding anything in regards to music and pics.

I think thats safe to delete and if it has thumbnails in it then you probably have a Rouge App and its taking up a lot of space

Default Sense widgets

none of my sense widgets work on this rom. Didn't on 2.35 either. Some will display properly but when you click on it, sense restarts. Friendstream shows me as not signed in to any social networks. The clock widget displays properly and you can click the weather portion. But try and click the clock to go to alarms...and bam sense has unfortunately stopped.

if it has a link to a Sense app that's been replaced by AOSP (ex.Clock) then it will not work

Every time I update to a new version the next version always has something I want. This time i'm on 2.36 and 2.37 fixes the graphics glitch. Oh well, temptation be damned. I'm sticking with 2.36 for a bit. Keep up the good work Mobster!

So just to be sure Mobster, there is no easy way to simply upgrade your rom without losing data and ensuring integrity of the system?

Oh, and would this graphical glitch fix include like the weird line that shows on the non-dark google play app when checking 'my apps'?

I advanced backup data then do a full wipe, flash rom, restore data and wipe caches. No issues so far doing this procedure.

Ah ok. I think I'll stick with .37 for a while then. I use beautiful widgets sense 4.1 superclock so the fc'ing sense clock doesn't matter. And hardly use Google now talk back either.

Mobster, didn't you say you might make a custom kernel when the source was released? According to this post:
HTC Released Source for the Shooter ICS | Anthrax Development

The source is now available. Might there be a new kernel in the works?

I enjoyed using Google now, can something be done about the activation sound it makes when you first activated. I think it is very loud. If there a way to deactivate the sound.

What governor does Power Kernel use by default? Since I switched over to Anthrax i've been using the Interactive governor and battery life has taken a nose dive. Yes, i'm overclocked to 1.5, so that can't help either.. I'm just wondering if a governor change would help. If not i'll probably switch back to Power Kernel just for the battery life.

and mobster, im sure when the note 2 is out, you can find a way to steal their multitasking functionality and apply it to this rom.

FM Radio is on my phone in 2.4 but I can't access it through Holo Launcher nor Sense but before I restored my back up data from 4EXT Recovery it was there. This was my first time using advanced back up in 4EXT Recovery, is there a way to get it back?

i may have linked the wrong video, googled a video real quick. already have onskreen and aircalc etc, that wasnt what i meant to show. the note 2 has multitasking built in where it can view like 2 windows in split screen, kind of like what windows 7 does. you can have like any app at the top, then any app at the bottom, and change the size of each. the note 10.1 has the same thing i think.

Would be cool but kinda hard to work with on a 4.3 inch screen and qHD Res that feature seems to be for phablets and tablets
