I tried calling them and the problem is that the digitizer is cracked so they want to charge $150.00 to repair it and I paid $200.00 for the phone and its only a week old. ( I searched all over the web for a replacement but the ZTE Warp is basically the only phone I can't find one for..... I am very sad.
I want to thank everyone for their concern. I cracked the touchscreen glass after only having the phone for a few days. ZTE wants $150.00 to repair the digitizer but thats not practical for me especially with the time involved with this process. ALL WARRANTY'S OFF IF YOU CRACK, CHIP OR SPIDER YOUR SCREEN. I found a new digitizer for pretty much any phone out except the ZTE warp and it's driving me nuts!!! Hopefully somebody has a solution for me.
Out of curiosity, if one were to get the add on $5.00 warranty that BOOST offers with the ZTE Warp when purchased, does that cover a cracked screen?
My Warp arrived with a cracked screen and after phone calls to BOOST and ZTE, I was emailed a shipping label from ZTE and got new phone with no charge. Phone had a couple of other issues as well as the screen problem.

I bought my phone from radio shack and purchased the 30 dollar service plan which turned out to be useless even if there are factory problems with the phone. ZTE and radio shack both said all warranties are pretty much erased if anything happens physically to your screen, which is the most vulnerable part of the phone. So far my only options are to buy a new phone or a new digitizer and i cant find the part anywhere on the web. Im hoping someone can save me from spending $460.00 just to use my brand new, unfortunately dropped a couple days after purchase ZTE Warp.
I repair phones for a living at a Boost Mobile retailer. We get returned defective ZTE Warps with issues like charging, vibrate, speakers, etc. If someone needs a digitizer, we can spare the parts from our worthless Warps, and charge a bit for repairing it. Just to help the community, if you guys need just the parts or want me to repair it, PM meh!

If what you said is true... I don't understand why they treated my case differently... when I called I was expecting the rep to tell me I was on my own but instead he immediately asked for my email and told me I would receive a shipping label... all I have to do is pay for the shipping... not the actual repair.
I work for a Boost Mobile retailer and cannot find a new digitizer for a warp anywhere. ZTE said they would replace my customers screen for 107, and thats without warranty or insurance. If anyone has a warp digitizer screen please let me know.
If you can't get insurance to cover it or warranty why wouldnt you just buy a new one? Why go through all the trouble of putting the screen on and paying well over $100 on it..
As of 5/1/2012 BoostMobile is allowing you to add insurance to your phone regardless of age. Its like an additional $5 a month, but can send it in to get fixed after you add the insurance.

Hi i just contacted zte via email. They emailed me back: We would request you to approve the same for repairing your phone. If you approve, there would be a call given to you in the next 24 hours asking for your billing details.
and you could reply to the e-mail with your physical address
I honestly dont know what thats supposed to mean, does that sound along the lines of what they told you?
Any updates on this?
I just got ahold of another Warp but the screen is cracked to hell and back. Found some on ebay but they're asking for around $50 and I really don't want to pay that much (can't afford atm). Unless of course someone that has a bricked Warp is feeling generous. lol

Just as an FYI with warranty stuff....
I worked for Samsung, and our warranty was good for a year. BUT!
We did not cover physical damage (dropping, kicking, stepping on, etc) liquid damage (do I need to elaborate...?) Or "Acts of Nature" (If you leave your device out where it rains/can be rained on, etc)
Also with retailers...if the manufacturer won't cover it (EG Samsung) odds are the retailer won't, either. Just be mindful of that. Before you buy a "SUPER WARRANTY OVER 9000!!!!!!!!!!" from someone, ask the important question:
What does this cover? Will it cover physical/water damage?

Hey friend I just got my brothers ZTE with a badly cracked screen and I just type in search for ZTE digitizer and there are several sites that you can visit depending on what you need
Like LCD screen or digitizer screen and so on. eBay has good options. But some of the prices are outrageous. Because who wants to pay more for a screen than the phone is worth. Anyway good luck and if I run across a good deal I'll give you a message. Does your phone respond?
Sup everyone. So I ran into an unfortunate problem the other day. I dropped the phone and cracked the screen so bad to where I can't even use it. So I need a new one and can't find one anywhere. So does someone here have a warp that's bricked or unusable that still has a good digitizer on it. I am willing to pay because I need my phone back and don't really have the money to get a new one.
SOMEBODY, I've got 2 broken warp's. one, I just get a black screen and I can hear it booting, the led lights blink, evrything works but the screen is black. On the 2nd one, the screen works, everything comes on, etc, but the screen dosent respond to touch.
What can i do to fix them, or atleast, to fix ONE of them?

The ZTE Warp has separate digitzer glass and LCD screens. Assuming the digitizer (top glass that you touch) is still working on the phone with the black screen, you can take it and replace the glass on the other phone.
Unfortunately, I can't find any instructions online on how to disassemble a Warp. Maybe someone else can help.
My friend accidentally dropped his Warp out of a car window on the highway and a few cars drove on top of it, a few buses and vans too, after he picked it up and noticed that it was cracked, my friend launched his Warp into the air as hard as he could, thinking that it will never work again. The thing looked like it came back from a monster truck demolition show. Despite all that, I convinced him to order the 50$ digitizer from ebay the phone works again good as new. Just wanted to share this.
I still have a ZTE WARP with a black screen. Everything works on it, you can hear it boot, beep and bonk, but screens black. Someone make me an offer on it (for parts). And offer, like you pay for shipping on it, and tell me how to ship it to you, and it's yours. Email me, Email removed by Mod

Hey all
I replaced my digitizer on my warp in Dec 2012 and dropped it in Feb 2013 and cracked it again, as of March 2013 I have another one but haven't put it in yet. You have 12 screws on LCD back and 2 screws under circuit board at bottom of LCD backing. 3 Ribbons, the Brown Tabs flip from Right to Left and the black Tab flips Left to Right. I don't have good vision so I had to use a magnifying glass the first time but after the 3rd time I just used my glasses. Ebay is the place for best Prices on the Digitizer and you may find LCD screen also. I payed $23.00 with Free shipping. The first screen was from another web site and the Price was like $45.00
Boost Mobile told me that warranty does not cover drops and the such. They say $107.00 for screen and repair.

Try to get the Digitizer Glass already installed in face plate, it makes the install so much easier. Which will cost between $45.00 and $50.00...
On the other hand if you end up getting just the Digitizer Glass, the you want to use a "Hair Dryer" to remove Digitizer Glass by pressing on Glass from behind while holding edge of frame that the Digi. Glass sits in. Then you have to find out what kind of glue is used to hold the Glass in place securely. Because some of the Glue will stay on the Digitizer Glass. I haven't found out yet.
And on the other hand you could purchase another ZTE WARP for $100.00 from Boost Mobile and have spare parts, all except the Digitizer Screen..
