Nice dude. I'm very happy. Any problems or suggestions please post them or message me. I want this to be an app everyone loves.

I even thought about adding a battery indicator in a large text, and also a few other little neat things like maybe a compass/gps or something idk LOL. It could be like the thing you use for camping trips, flashlight and all in one app?

I also need NON-ROOT Beta testers still!!!! Private message me if you have been in this community for a little while, and would like to test this app. If you have 1 or 2 posts, sorry but I'm not comfortable with that as a tester because i need feedback, not just someone who is going to use the app and run away with it lol.

Non-rooted phone
Community contribution (as in these forums!)
Intelligence Quotient (j/k, but kinda srs. :P )

Looking for someone who can basically provide good feedback, use the app. alot, but most importantly download->install->authorize without me virtually holding their hand to do it

If you think you fit this criteria please message me. I have a few messages already but most are from rooted users.

Thanks and <3 to everyone in this thread!

Okay, I really can not wait for this app to come out! Does it kill the battery faster compared to the other apps?

Can you ellaborate on your question. What other apps are you referring to? Speaking of battery, I am adding a battery level output on the screen so that everyone can see what % battery is left. This will help those who are using the app for a long duration or often.

I'm considering a compass as well, but that will most likely be down the line.

I have four testers right now. If you are a tester please message me with some feedback. I have not had a chance to work on it in a week but plan to this weekend if I get a chance. Very busy right now but hopefully that will subside.

Looking forward to some development time soon....

if i reboot my phone turn it back on open your app and click authorize button. then click light is off button the light doesnt turn on. but all of the text that pops up right above the light is off button. also, the button turns to the light is on. if i click it agian it(while it stats the light is on) the light flashes and the button states light is off. if i click it again the light turns on and all is well. this only happens if i restart my phone.

Hope this helps, Blackbolt22. from what i can tell from the posts im the only one with this issue. i have a rooted phone stock rom as previously state if more info is need please let me know

Thanks for the info. I am aware of this on my phone as well. In about a week I'll have a number of days to work on it, and plan to fix these kind of issues and add another feature.

I like my test group now, you all have been great, Thanks!

Just out of curiosity, Blackbolt22, does that mean your going to making this app available to the general public sometime in the next foreseeable future?
thanks for everything,

Beta testers please download version 1.1 ASAP and report on the following:

If battery level indicator works.
If first "light on" works after install.

** Be sure to clear app data and uninstall before installing new Beta version. **

Thanks!!!!!

Seems solid. Old bug I found is fixed. Just a question can you have the battery state state when the phone is charging? Just a thought.thanx can't wait for this to go prime time.

Edit: when uninstalling the 1.1 Beta it states its still version 1 not 1.1 just a heads up

Hi, blackbolt22 thanx for all your work and everything you've done. I am greatfull for you making this app and giving me the opportunity to test it. But I have trourble using this app Because I don't always have service.

Are you going to remove needing a network connection to use the app when it hits prime time??

Also, this is a great app, when are you going to make it available for everyone?????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ???????

Are you going to make this app available for everyone?

Are you going to put this app on the market or just give the awesome folks at androidforums access to it?

Do you need help with funding to put this app on the market if that's what you decide to do?

Hope to hear from you soon.
Best regards,
Mooseberry

YES,
SOON,
I WANT TO,
THE MARKET IF I CAN GET 25 DOLLARS TO SPARE LOL
I just started a new job so funds are really tight due to startup costs. I'm not sure if it belongs on the market I mean it's not all fancy like some of the other flashlight apps, but it does do the job. If anyone has put an app. on the market here please pm me and explain the process, simple or hard, etc.

As stated before I need to tweak it then I'm gonna consider putting it out there on the market. If I don't get it on the market then I'll probably just post a link on my page.

The paypal donate button is on my website but no one has donated. I figured no one would but I thought it looked cool anyways

Right now I'm a field service technician for a living but I'd love to eventually spend all my day monday thru friday making awesome apps.
That being said I'm no graphic designer so my app looks "basic" to me.

It looks good to Me how fancy does a flashlight app need to be. Just an on and off switch? Right. Good Work thanx

Mooseberry, I'm going to devise a way to make the app work for say 10 times without needing auth. I'll try to work on this ASAP but I've been really busy working my new job and think I'm getting sick from working in the rain today.

Guys I have awesome news. Someone on this forums donated enough to cover the google developer fee and then some. I will be putting this on the market so everyone can use it once it's done!

Thanks so much for your contributions!

I know Thomas from the Prevail forum and he's exactly the same (he wants step by step by half-step directions without reading anything). I think he may be legitimately slow though so be easy on him.

Times are tough bro. I wish I could help but I'm feeding and housing 4 on one 12 dollar salary right now. You have done an incredible job on this app and it has been very helpful with me being an electrician, as I always work in the dark.
The service thing is quite an issue and the battery drain because of that along with the screen time out, but aside from that you have done an excellent job on this WARP FLASHLIGHT. I want to commend and thank you for this.
I apologize for my hiatus as I have been trying to sort out legal issues and family issues, but I have used this.. The second beta and it has been flawless.
