My warp was an upgrade from this:

Motorola i1 Specs, Features (Phone Scoop)

So as you can imagine, pure euphoria comes to mind when thinking about the zte warp!

I upgraded from the I1. Rooted the ZTE with the one click and all is great. Only thing I miss is the flashlight app but one is in the works......

Thats what I did about 6 months back too. I love mine. I never hated the Warp but I really love My Nexus S 4G on boost. I just realized early on that the Warp wasnt goin to fare well with Rom development.
Is yours on boost like mine?

Well i had purchased the EVO V 4G what a POS a returned 3 of them and none of them worked my bars jumped all over the internet was nice... when and if it worked that day my highest speed test was 11mbps on 4g but like i said when it worked i don't care if i get 11mbps if it comes at the cost of only working about once a week had the phone for two months and guess whos back on the warp! HTC can go and #@%^ themselves the sense interface clogs the dual core and uses a half gig of ram just sitting there DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THAT PHONE!!! Sorry snake i dont care what you say. to fully root the thing takes hours and emailing HTC and poking the main board of the phone with a paperclip that the other end is on the battery its dumb stupid and any other form of which i did not mention... your paying for a glorified camera the 3d is cool but not worth the BS plus virgin charges for droped calls so every time your call doesnt go through they still charge you for it... boost is the way to go please remember that. SCREW THE HTC EVO V 4G WENT THROUGH 3 OF THEM AND RETURNING MY FOURTH TOMORROW. it is a pain in the but to root as well and it voids warenty to do anything to an htc phone 300$ for a broken phone is a waste of time.

I lol'd at that

Please take this as a follow-up/explanations to some of your troubles and not a defence as I can clearly see this is just not the phone for you.

With any HTC phone's, there are three steps to 100% "unlocking". First is unlocking the bootloader (to install 4EXT recovery (awesome recovery btw!)), the second is rooting the phone (we all know this process), and the third that is HTC-specific is what is called S-OFF. This is special because HTC in their phones have set a security flag that basically prevents ROM's being flashed with a kernel in 1 packaged. Some however can be flashed in this form via 4EXT's "smart flash". However, this is the process that you were referring to with the paperclip. Basically that is a way of booting the phone a special way so that something called the "HBOOT" (something HTC specific) can be replaced by a custom HBOOT which is the only way to turn off the S flag that is present. The reason this method is the only way that works is because the EVO V 4g (shooter ICS VM) comes with an HBOOT version that does not work with revolutionary.

In a nutshell, HTC phone's are not friendly with ROM's.

Ok, now onto another more important (imo) subject...

I received my phone back from the mail quite a while ago and i was told from the person who bought my warp that he was having a problem with text messages. I'm not sure HOW this happened because I contacted boost, wiped ALL account info, reset ALL the software, i ran the update tool by zte AT LEAST 10 times if not more to make ABSOLUTELY sure, un-registered the phone so that it comes up with the "hands free activation" again.. I can't figure out why this is happening and im not sure what to do about it :/

If anyone wants to buy the warp for $100 w/ free shipp (ill list it on ebay) pm me. I can get it on ebay as soon as you're ready to buy. I can't guarentee that texting will work, but i wanna see if anyone wants to buy it first as it is for rom development or whatnot whereas texting wont be that important

LOL $100.00 dollars is why to much for a used shipped around the states and returned broken Warp when you can get a Brand new one right from Boost for $129.00. And Radio Shack has them for $99.99 I think your stuck with that piece of Snake. You have been trying to dump it since June 4th a quarter of a year lol.

Why not just keep it at that price and use it as a dedicated Mp3 player and video player that you can use and abuse without worrying about its appearance and safety I was going to give mine away when I upgrade but have decided to do just that jam 64gbs of just music, video, and audio books in it and not handle it like its glass and abuse it like my old ipod.

i dont listen to a lot of music/video's to do that lol. I literally have no use for it right now, its just a dust magnet at the moment. I would really have a better use for $50 that I might be able to get out of it.
