Can more than 1 app be run at the same time such as when you are running the navigator or any other app is it possible to “minimize” it like a pc and run another app.

I was wondering say your using an app or such like navigator and you get a call or message can that be answered or address without having to shut down the app

Android can operate apps at the same time if you make sure to close a app it will stop running but hitting home let's it run in the background same with recieving a call

Yes that or simply hold down the home key and a window will pop up with all open and/or recent apps I find that the best and more sensible way.

Exactly the home key puts the app on the background but praying the back key usually closes the app

Try an app like, prehome or taskswitcher ....i can't live without it. Like having alt tab.

D/Loaded taskswitcher this AM and like it so far just need to get use to DBL clicking the home screen to get home,thanks for the recommendation n0ve.

Once you get used to it..overall productivity / responsiveness is so, much better. You can also switch setting to double tap to open tabs and leave home default.
