Default ZTE Warp Sequent and Ubuntu

This isn't really a root thread so im going post it here. Anyone else had issues getting MTP (Media Transfer) to work with ubuntu/linux mint? Im wanting to start on Cm10 myself just learning but i cant get the phone to connect to linux.

Did you try the adb install guide for Ubuntu?
After that I had no issue with the first warp.

But now with the hydro I have permission issues, so it might be an ics thing

Its the MTP protocol that ICS uses which will make pulling the files and everything a major pain in the arse........

I had no issue with the hydro pulling system. All other partitions were a no go except directly copying the mmcblks. I still haven't looked into extracting them. I think I'll be over on this side of the pond soon, so we should be able to speed things up here soon
