You just gotta watch sometimes that the stuff coming from over there is crap... I'm not saying that the stuff you got is crap, but there are ALOT of complaints about it being junk... Just FYI
3 to 5 hours. No joke. If you want faster charging use the phone to charge. Not that big a deal to me.For the price though, two batteries AND a charger, hell I spent that at lunch today.
Even if you get 2/3rd, hell even 1/3 the battery life of the OEM HTC, two of them would make a good emergency back up to have in the car, on a trip etc for when maybe you couldn't use a car charger or get to a wall jack.
That said, for you guys that have these, whats the average charge time for these batteries on this charger? I just got mine in the mail about an hour ago, been on the charger about an hour now. I'm still looking at a pretty pink'ish/red'ish charging light, no green yet!
The only thing I'd be worried about knockoff batteries would be the battery exploding while its in your phone. I'm not sure how common that is though.
Was trying to decide between this and siedio's 3500mah battery thats comming out. But $70 vs $10 out wieghted the inconviece of switching batteries. Plus no hump in the back.
DING DING DING!
...
my point here is these batteries and many other generics have over charge protection.
I'm actually on your side marctronixx, but if you're asking SebastianX for his source on his information, I have to ask your source. How do you know these batteries (which I have also ordered, btw) DO have protection?
most likely the exact same thing, but for 10 dollars
2x 1500mAh battery + dock charger for Sprint HTC Evo 4G - eBay (item 250641711190 end time Jun-29-10 01:08:58 PDT)
It is an awesome deal, but I can't bring myself to even spend 10 bucks for extra batteries. I was going to a few weeks ago when this forum had me all nervous about battery life, but mine has been excellent. I'm waiting on a bundle that has other stuff that I could use with it. If some seller had a bundle with the batteries + charger, a micro-HDMI cable, a few screen protectors, and a dual outlet USB car charger (the kind where I supply the cable), I'd be all over it.
