Fitness App to use with P90x

This would be awesome...I just started phase 3 of my second cycle. Best I have is the excel spreadsheets for tracking which is nice, but an android app would be nice.

At the least though, you could put the workouts into your calendar...or create a spreadsheet to track the weight and measurements and such...

I'm starting on Monday and I searched all week to find an app. I got the calendar loaded on my Google calendar but that's about it. I think there's an Iphone app for p90x but none for android.

Well, keep with it. It's a great program if your willing to make the lifestyle commitment to getting it done. After this cycle my buddy and I are going to start P90X+...that thing looks crazy...

I agree that you should stick with the program!! I finished my first round of P90X a couple of weeks ago. I can honestly say I'm in the best shape of my life after P90X. You can see my results from the program on this post on my blog-

P90X Results

Also, I do have a post on my blog where you can download the an excel spreadsheet to track your progress. Here it is-

P90X Spreadsheet

I hope that helps!

From what I heard, Beachbody is in the very early stages of developing an app. I'm not sure if they are going for just iPhone or for if they are going to release it for a broad range of phones, though.

I would like something that would let you schedule a mix of their programs. I've done about 5 rounds of P90X, most with a mix of 1-on-1 and Insanity workouts, so an app only for P90X would do me no good.

P90X is the truth! Good luck to anyone who is about to start. I've almost finished the 3rd week and have lost 11 lbs. Granted it probably had a lot to do with me changing my diet, too. YES, you do have to either follow their meal plan OR count your calories. Anyhow, I'm not here to preach. I have spreadsheet that you guys can use but the site won't let me upload it.

I've been thinking about learning to develop an app for fun for android. Just got my first device last week. I've been brainstorming something unique to do that people would get use from. A lot of my ideas were already done (SIMPSONS DID IT!!!) P90x progress app came to mind and did a google search and found this forum post. Looks like i may have something to work with here! No promises on ever being able to do this thing, but for a start app, a workout recording app geared towards the p90x and p90x plus routines sounds like some people could use it.

There have been requests for trial\demo version as well as several requests via appbrain like:
Customization (for custom routines)
Classic version only any thoughts on a lean version
Display the reps for a single day under each exercise(or put the day next to the reps for that day)

Any progress on any of that? Are they even being considered?

Hello th3r00st3r,
We are constantly updating the app. And we consider all requests for features. We gather them from the market, appbrain and/or direct email. Just last night we released one of the most requested features: weight/ body fat % tracking. Along with notes to track your results. For more information please visit: UnifyLog

As for the specific requests:
lean is coming out in the next release as it has been requested several times.
Displaying the day under each exercise is in the works right now.
We are also working on a demo/lite version. For now the only trial is the 24 hours that you can get from the market.

Some other requests that we are considering are: charting and exporting your data. Please feel free to send us your comments, requests for features or vote for the ones mentioned at [info at unifylog DoT com]

Stay tuned
