i want to hear honest opinions from people that like the X, love the X, and the isheep that love the donttouchtheSIDEsphone.

I think it is every bit as awesome as I thought it would be. The only thing that worries me at all is that quite of few reviewers are saying that this phone lags every now and then, an isn't as fast as the Incredible. It probably won't be a big deal, but that is the only thing I have to complain about and like I said it probably won't be a big deal.

Yes you are right, i believe it has to do with the new blur.

It maybe some auto update that it does as you go back home, depending what widgets you are using or what apps are running. Perhaps froyo will kill the lag or its just maybe more badblur coding.Last but not least, there is always root. I cant wait to get it in my hands and find out.

Agreed, I will eventually root it so it won't really matter.

Im sure once froyo is out you wont be able to tell if there is any lag seeing how all the benchmark tests show it already running much faster on 2.1 then most would be on 2.2

I saw somebody speculate that the "slowness" was just in transitions and Sense tweaked the transitions to be smoother. Don't know how accurate that is though.

yeah, if you mean the benchmarks where it comes in close @2.1 against google's baby @2.2.

Then yeah i know exactly what you mean. Im banking on 2.2 to make a 40 % performance increase.

if that info is accurate, then all it will take is some final touchups to blur on motos end. Or if worse comes to worse we can use adw or launcher pro until we root or get froyo.

I see alot of potential for this phone. It kicks ass and is not even out yet.

the most exciting thing about this phone is its video camera. Having the 3 microphones will making recording 720p video that much better and should dwarf the sound of other phones. Add in the mechanical shutter and I think you are look at a video/photo powerhouse.

I was actually waiting for a incredible since 6/2. i was supposed to get it tomorrow.....if not for my order being delayed again on this past monday.
LOL i didnt even sweat it. I had already made my mind up on this badass moto so the incredible was going to get rejected at the door anyway.

Im so effin glad i didnt get the incredible, i really despise cheap feeling phones

well some reviews say the camera on the X is better than the evo. I have read that the noise cancellation works very well also.

Alot of things about the X are getting praised, music to my ears

I am very impressed with the phone. I will admit that the first time I saw it from Engadget, I was put off from it. Now though, it is simply spectacular. It is truly the Android phone to beat.

The Ninjablur skin is what's holding back the Droid X. If it was stock Android, then it would definitely be the fastest in terms of user experience. From the aspect of pure hardware, the Droid X is much faster.

I think what he means is that a lot of people have said the Evo lags and the Incredible seems faster and that so far the reviews have said pretty much the same thing about the Droid X.

There aren't many out there that are as fast or as feature rich as HTC sense UI. I'm actually looking forward to rooting this thing and putting a sense rom on it! just to try it out of course!

I love sense, I hate the app drawer at the bottom/ phone dialer. But I love the widgets. I am just ready for something new, I owned both the Eris and Incredible so I am getting tired of Sense, but I still think it is great.

It will be nice after root, that way I can go back if I want to.
