Well i must say although I loved my Nexus all along I was never 100 percent happy with it and the way I would have here and there issues with it. Missing apps, loss of 3G, 3g slow downs, some force closures, hit and miss lag, etc. But for the first time I am 100 percent Happy and exited. Since i upgraded to frf72 then frf83 this morning , all my apps are back and my 3g is un believable. Running speeds of 4.1 up and .80 up. My phone is blazingly fast now, watching video in my browser is issue free (take that non flash having fanboys). i also Have not experienced any 3g disconnect issues , woot woot. Thank you google and HTC for correcting these issues and making my phone a powerhouse, like it should have been all along. I do not regret my purchase one bit.

iam not happy. seems they have done something to reallty slow down wifi tether. was this to keep American networks happy?

i just tried my hotspot and tethering and they are both working with no issues both connection and speed wise... question why would you tether wifi? i mean if your phone picks it up shouldnt the wifi enabled product your trying to connect also pick it up?

Got the 2.2 update on my stock ATT N1 last night and it has made the phone way better. The speed is so much faster. Everything about it is no seemless. No more animations dragging. It's all so smooth now. Internet is faster. And the WiFi hotspot is really cool!
For some reason this guy is pretty commited to spreading his lies all over these forums. Don't beleive him, he rooted his phone and that's how he got the update.

If these were my forums, you'd be banned for being a sad, sad person dude..

This is very funny to me that you all think I'm lying.

Is there really no way to prove it? Because I gladly would if there was.

yes you could easily prove it. take a picture of your settings menu in ABOUT where it shows the version number. then take another picture of your phone booting up where to shows the unlock icon for an unlocked bootloader. and use a newspaper with today's date next to the phone in both photos so we know it happened today.

of course there are some talk about new method to root the phone without unlocking the bootloader, but i didnt know if that was official yet or not.
