Oh, sorry guys, I thought word had been spread:

Droid X Dump File + Droid X boot screen & Droid RedEye/w Sound LW + Multi Touch KB - xda-developers

Just install the apk and change the keyboard settings and input method. As simple as installing an app, no root required.

It's a great keyboard.

Mines not showing up. Everything installed fine. When I go to KB settings I enabled multi-touch kb but when I go to input it doesnt show multi-touch kb.

Any ideas? Help please?

I've used it and like every other hack out there it generates a lot of lag in forum reply boxes and or any website related text input fields...

It works great on URL boxes, and SMS messages...

I got a video uploading as we speak... It's a bit better to type on vs stock, but stock's button layout is great... Also missing the hide keyboard button (although pushing back will hide it just as well)...

Since I'm not a swyper, I say this is the best board so far, with the exception of IME being way more customizable but this one is multitouch... So they're tied...

Don't mind the spelling, I had to do the video a few times because of hiccup issues on EVO 2 while video recording... Another thing now I'm looking into...

im using the hacked keyboard but when i press the speech to text mic it pops an error message that says google voice unavailable. any ideas... maybe post the file you guys are using please

I just tried mine in ChompSMS and it worked... The stock EVO one just looks better though...

Still, what program did you use it in?

Did you try to reboot your phone? My sister's youtube didn't run and I did a reboot and it worked after... Sometimes the Android system needs it, rarely but usually after installs of stuff the phone goes a bit wonky...

if your speech to text isnt working you might have voice search uninstalled, if you are on fresh's rom go into the fresh removed app's folder. it should be on your sd card and run the voice search apk then the voice option should work on your droidx keyboard

Swtiched to Multi-touch from Swype. Will be sticking with Multi-touch from now on. Finally, a keyboard that can keep up with my fingers!
