This thread is turning into a war!
Anyways, I have the iPhone 4 (delivered this morning) and own the N1. I haven't even opened the iPhone 4 yet but will be this evening when I'm home. I'd be more than happy to post comparison images of certain pages, images etc from both devices in both low light, day light and sun light (where possible - damn english weather)
I moved to android this year with my N1 and i've so far been blown away by the ease of customization and general support for developers from Google themselves.
Apple on the other hand, seem very money orientated and don't really favour giving much help to developers as much as it would seem with Google.
Now I'm not being biased as I've always like the iPhone and only swapped because I have no use for 2 phones.
I still think that the N1's screen is simply THE worst I've ever seen in sunlight or any kind of excessive light. When in the car, I have it on my proclip and if I have a light coloured shirt/t-shirt on, it is literally impossible to see my N1 screen. It turns into a mirror. It's as if the actual bed where the pixels sit is made from silver (or something reflective) and all it does is literally that, mirrors everything.
I feel the screen is too under powered to be able to even cope with having the brightness up and shining through the mirroring effect.
I'll wait and see what the iPhone 4 screen is like and hopefully drop back in to show some pictures today or tomorrow.
