Root Most compatible rom

Which ROM is most compatible with 2.1OTA? I rooted using the Eris Master App, and used Eris Official 1.0. I mainly wanted to be able to wireless tether, and for now want my phone to be close to original. Looking through all the different ROM features can be overwhelming.

I think "Eris_Official" and "Plain Jane" are the most similar to the 2.1 OTA software, so you've already got that.

Check out white widow. It's got a lot of great useful things and the changed to the GUI are beautiful. Rounded, white status bar. Lightning fast speed for an eris and it comes with apps2sd and other great features. Check out the thread.

I know your looking for close to stock and be able to wireless tether but there are so many reasons roms are made, not just for looks. The speed increases from removing senseUI from the phone is amazing!
