Motorola Droid Pro??

Has anyone heard information about a phone motorola is supposed to put out at the end of this year called the droid pro? I read about some rumored specs and it sounds amazing.. but its still a rumor

Your pretty close....Droid pro and DroidWE is the same unit.to bad if you saw it you would never know what it is.it disguised extremely well in a old device housing.

thats what i had seen as well. supposedly a 2ghz processor..? Lets hope this happens it would be an amazing phone

I am just going to put this here cus it's just speculation XD:

- 4.3" FWVGA <=-Just plain too big to be easily pocketable: perhaps 4"?

- 12MP camera <=- 8mp is already wasted, why go higher until the optics catch up?

- 720p recording <=- Indeed

- 1GB RAM <=- At a minimum

- QSD 8x72 <=- Snapdragon is *not* as powerful as it should be - give me an updated Cortex stable at 1.5-2ghz and overclockable

- Android Gingerbread w/out Moto Blur <=- Include motoblur but make it easily disabled?

- Front-facing camera <=- And for god's sake, a Skype that works on wifi and isn't locked to Verizon's buttrape.

Hello, my name is Nancy and I'm an admitted Gadget Geek Addict. My husband says I need to go to counseling! LOL! I have the Droid 1 and absolutely love it except for the call quality. It has been horrible and I'm on my 7th phone in just under 3 months.
But all joking aside. I'm chopping at the bit to get an Droid X. I for one love the fact that it is 4.3" in size. I had the Archos 5 which was 5" but do to the speakers and such it added way too much real estate to make it really pocketable. Then there's the fact it was not on the 3G network. So this phone would be a good fit I beleive. But there is this rumor hanging out there about the Droid Pro. I just know if I get the X and the Pro comes out, I will want it. So I'm impatient but willing to wait for the Pro if everyone thinks this phone is going to be MUCH better than the X and will be out by Christmas time. The specs for the Pro, although speculation, sounds amazing and worth waiting for.
So is this phone really going to come out? I'm been searching the net for the last 2 weeks trying to find any new updated info on the Pro that I can. Does everyone think it really will be here by Christmas and will be better than the X? Otherwise I'm not waiting.

If you have a Droid, I would stick with it until phones come out with Gingerbread built in. Front-facing cameras would also help future-proof your phone.

I don't know if Motorola will make it, but Verizon will almost certainly have a Gingerbread launch phone. I would wait.
