Dolphin vs. Dolphin HD

Hey, to those of you who've used both tell me which you prefer. I happen to have "dolphin license" if that seems to make a difference.

They are both good, the HD is just a bit slower, but they are what they are, remember we are using mobile browsers so they will never be compare to a PC, but I have been using mainly the D HD as of late.

Yeah, I like the ease of use for both the Dolphin Browsers but I currently use HD b/c of it's extra features :)

+1 But I ditched Dolphin HD and Dolphin in favour of Skyfire 2.1 Beta (Default) and Opera Mini 5 Beta. I only have Opera as a backup really. I love Skyfire. Dolhpin Browser HD got annoyed when I would zoom into something and then it would just keep bringing out the bookmarks and other toolbar when I would try to move. Though this only happened on certain pages.

Overall, I just love the layout and everything about Skyfire. Except the icon.

Skyfire runs really slow on my phone... HD too, and I have the license. For me, the regular Dolphin is the best, unless I want something fast. In that case I use Opera, but it is very limiting since a lot of pages use JScript and advanced CSS for navigation and Opera is not so good at that... so in the end... (IMHO)

1. Dolphin
2. Opera
3. Dolphin HD
4. Skyfire

Skyfire is just the greatest. Everything is in the right location as it should be in my opinion and I love that. Settings etc. You also have the ability to play back flash videos. Though it is not true flash you are watching, they say it saves on battery and the playback is certainly better based on what I have seen though I have not seen true flash on this yet so I can't really compare.

Yes, you can view in Mobile or Desktop mode though there is a third option for "Default", minor annoyance as I think this is just Desktop mode again. It really isn't default because it stays to whatever setting you set it (Mobile/Android, Desktop, or Default).
My list goes:
1. Skyfire
2. Opera Mini 5
3. Dolphin Browser HD
4. Dolphin

I tried others as well but I like to only have a maximum of two installed.
I plan to try Fennec tonight though I am just trying it out to see as it is in pre-alpha.

Okay so HD for coolness and features or regular for speed, sounds like regular is the way to go. I'm currently using Opera which is rediculously faster than the stock browser.

Yeah, I use Dolphin HD and Opera, depending on what I'm using. The speed of Opera can't be beat in my experience. But I sometimes have issues with forms. For basic quick browsing, reading news, etc., I use Opera. I really like the features of Dolphin HD, and would use that 100%, but I get frustrated with the slowness of pages loading.

I gave Skyfire a shot a few months ago. I preferred regular Dolphin a the time, and never bothered installing Skyfire since I upgraded to the official 2.1 ROM.
