Has anyone tried this? I know the Evo battery is red to match the incredible. I didn't see anything about it online other than htcpedia selling them as an extended battery for the Incredible. Anyone know if it's the same sice as the TP2 battery and will work?

I bought this one from htcpedia: HTC Droid Incredible Extra Capacity Battery

FWIW: I am returning it because it does not fit properly. The back cover will not completely close.

Just try a little harder. It is supposed to be a very snug fit. Hundreds of people on this forum are using that battery in their Incredible right now.
Snug ok. Being able to get the cover completely flush as it should be, not ok. I've tried numerous times. It doesn't work for me. There are pictures on the forum showing the gap. You shouldn't have to sit on the phone to get the cover snapped shut.

I am returning the battery. 1500 isn't that much better than stock. I am keeping the 2150.

I have the EVO battery in right now. It is a snugger fit but it fits. The battery is great too!

That's what I was afraid of.

I just took off my case and I see absolutely no gap between the phone and the back. I didn't have to do anything more than put a little bit more pressure on the back cover when closing it and making sure to check all sides. Plus any case would cover whatever gap people are seeing.

This people, is what you might call tolerance of failure.

Depending on manufacturing and every other type of possible variable like letting a mold for plastic get too old or not inspecting it or a quick drying time vs. a long drying time can make lots of things different.

I have the 1500 RHOD160 battery in my incredible from time - to - time. the incredible stock back door DOES NOT FIT RIGHT. I try and try, snap and snap and snap and snap. NOTHING makes it fit. Nothing makes it sit right.

I've even gone so far as to try closeing the door in different paths (clockwise, counter clockwise) and starting in different spots.

Nothing makes it fit. I deal with the gap because I am keeping the battery for testing.

When I was in college, I worked for a fence company, and occassionally we would get a section or two of fence that had the whole entire middle rail miss-nailed and we would have to nail the pickets on... we called it a Labatt Friday Secion - cuz the fence came from Canada and we could only assume the guy running the nail machine was drinking...

When I was in college,

Proof that he's old lol he came out with a "when i was in college story" lol.

back on topic. I want to get an extended battery my stock battery is a 1300 or 1350 my memory sucks i just took it all off. Now i saw one on amazon but the battery itself said evo so judging from what people say it'll work but might have a tight fit and to boot i've got an external case anyways so here's to hoping it'll work.
