I know of a few female friends that seem to like it, but mostly it seems to be a MAN's phone!! ;-)

Release day, last Friday, there were about 15 in line before the store opened, only 1 was female, so, that may be representative of the ratio??

A friend's 18 year old daughter wants one real bad, so that is a good sign that female and younger are liking it too.

The only woman I know of getting a Droid is Molly Wood of CNET. It seems like such a masculine phone that I wonder if it will end up primarily being for guys. If my wife was up for a new phone, I would probably steer her to the Eris.

I tend to disagree. I think it's a very feminine phone and that's why guys like it so much. Everytime she tells me to turn left in 500 feet my heart skips a beat!

Darkbleed, but that just shows how much of a "guy" phone it is! Everything made for guys has to have a hot girl involved somewhere! :0)

I was messing with the navigation this morning and my daughter decided to name her "Sally". Not thrilled with that, but hard to change it now!

Very cool!!

My wife is 42 and loves my Droid, but her contract comes due in February and by then I bet the Passion/Dragon will be something she would like. She is such a girly that when I got her an iPod Touch, the first thing she insisted upon was a pink cover!
My wife and I bought our (2) Droids three days ago. She is geeky but not very patient with tech. Our tech relationship; she tells me what she wants the device to do, I make it happen...

That is my life! Usually it starts with me buying something she thinks is entirely unnecessary, like a Harmony remote, a Blu-Ray player with networking, even our DVR. A month later she can't live without it, but still has me to ALL the work!

Well I am female and love my droid.
My boyfriend still has a Razr that he swears his contract just ended a couple months ago, but that thing is BEAT and I swear it must be 3 or 4 years old... the battery only last a couple of hours.

There was an older woman, maybe 50s, looking into the Droid on launch day the same as I was, but she seemed more interested in the Eris based on look/feel in the end... and I don't think she ended up buying a phone that day.

I think the biggest drawback is how HEAVY the phone is, but it seems like a lot of people like that about it - how it feels "solid"... maybe that's a guy thing?? I think it feels like a brick and would hate to find out how hard it falls! :p
