Is there a list of the best Android apps?

Is there a place to find this list? If not, I would like to make a list of the best applications that someone can use as a reference to find everything all in one place. I'm sick of constantly having to install and uninstall application after application trying to find out which one works the best. I have a Motorola Driod. The applications I am looking for is:

- Text Editor
- PDF Reader
- Task Killer
- Weather
- Screen Capture
- Xbox Live Friends List
- Wifi or USB Teather
- Language Translator
- Voice Recorder
- Twitter

Is there any way to see websites that support Flash? OK, I look forward to the recommendations. Thanks for your help and time.

I would recommend doing some research in the various forums on this website. The question of best or favorite apps has come up many, many times. If you had the time and dedication to tally up some statistics from various threads, you could probably make a list of peoples' favorite apps for different things by counting which ones get the most mentions. I could make my own list here, but of course that's only one person and I'm not qualified to tell everyone else what the best apps are.

There are also a lot of app review websites, so you may be able to get more information on reviews and such from those. Or you could just Google "best Android apps" if you need even more ammo. I think with all of that you should be able to make a decent list.

Anyways.. that's my suggestion.

Well, if you guys use any of the above types of applications then I'd like to hear what you use so I can check them out for myself.

Not to change the topic, but is there a way to find out if my phone is rooted? I did the procedure to root it so I could use the Barnacle software, but it's giving me an error message. I looked up the error message and it said something about not having full su priveledges or something like that. I did some reading in the forums and it seems like nobody could get it to work, but they are talking about rooting versions 6 and 7 and stuff like that and I have no idea what they mean. I saw someone talking about PdaNet so I just downloaded it and trying to get that to work right now so I can at least USB tether.

Thanks for the input it's greatly appreciated!!

Really my Droid didn't come with a PDF reader or voice recorder and you said the Incredible does? I tried Advanced Task Manager, but it doesn't seem to work that well. I keep deleting running apps, but they just pop back up a few minutes later, so it seems to be a waste. I was looking for something that worked better and kept the apps from poping back into memory.

I wish you other guys would list what you used or recommended. LOL OK. Thanks...

Mate, you're just being lazy. Please use the search button before posting. Or replying to this post. Or any post.

Skrypt is a douche and has no authority...keep looking, I'd try the root forum section for Droid to find some help.

But Skrypt is right in this case while you are wrong! So he's got more 'authority' than you do.
