Help Updating my htc magic...

Ok so im new on this forum i already have an htc magic for an year and today i got this new, theres updates for it, im stick on firmware 1.5 and i cant fine anything to make it update itself, i look on google for any tut or something and i didnt found anything so im posting here to ask for help, how can i update my htc magic from 1.5 to the newest version?

Try going into the Settings > About phone > System software updates,click check now and if there is a update available it will tell you.

on my HTC i dont have the system software update option.. because of that i posted here asking for help

If you are not receiving the OTA (Over The Air) updates for your phone I would suggest a visit to a t-mobile store for assistance. If not, you can take matters into your own hands by exploring rooting your phone as an option
