Syncing FB Profile Pics with Contacts

I'm having problems with getting Facebook profile pics to show up with the majority of my contacts. Here is what I've done so far:

1) Synced my Gmail contacts with my Droid
2) Set Facebook settings on Droid to Sync Contacts

At this point, roughly 3 or 4 of my 70 contacts showed their FB profile picture. I am able to view people's FB profiles by clicking on their contact profile, but still no picture. After clicking on some contacts' profiles, their picture will appear, but this has only worked a few times (~3/20).

Does any one have suggestions on how to get FB profile pictures synced to all contacts that have profiles available?

I only had two of my contacts that have FB accounts not show up with pictures after it synced. One I had put in as Christina but she goes by Christy on FB. Once I corrected the name to Christy, the picture showed up. The other one I have in my contacts with first name only so that one didn't show up.

What I thought was weird was I added someone with the name "Kate" and after it synced it changed it automatically to "Katie."

i think the phone is able to match the phone number you have stored and the phone number your contact has in FB... or by name if they are the same in your contacts as in FB... or if you have emails saved in your ohone that match FB... but im trying to figure out how to somehow tell the phone "this contact goes with this profile..." but cant seem to figure out how... i do know that you can view and edit all your contacts within Gmail and once you edit them in gmail they auto update on your phone... but can seem to be able to find where to put the link for FB. i tried under the website line but it didnt work?? anyone have any better luck?

I have changed the names of my phone contacts to match my facebook contacts but they still dont merge. Any ideas?

My encounter along these lines is when I call a friend from the voice dialing, and the Facebook contact picture for another friend comes up in its place (both friends are on Facebook)! Even after manually assigning a contact picture to my desrired friend, the other person's picture shows up!!!

Any ideas?

Does anyone know how to sync the Droids contact list to Google Contacts? If I add a new contact on the droid, it doesn't add that person to my contacts on google...

Make sure you have syncing turned on in your settings for that Google account. Syncing with Google should work both ways, meaning you create on Google, it will get pushed to your phone. If you create on your phone, it should get pushed back to Google.

That works. Thanks! The next question is, I have about 300 FB contacts that aren't in my google contacts...is there anyway to get these additional contacts to sync up as google contacts? (I realize that for most of these contacts, I only have a name, picture, and email)
