Help What the heck is wrong with my Incredible?

See I dont get that, I havent had one single glitch or f*ck up on my phone and I got it on release day. I would never say this is a glitchy phone because so few people actually have problems with it, and those who have have gotten replacements.

With that being said, uninstall/reinstall your messaging app or download a 3rd party one if its the stock one...Handcent is awesome.

Welcome to the ever glitchy world of the incredible!

It isn't just an Incredible thing. I've got a friend with an iPhone and it happens. A friend with a Storm 2 and it happens.

It usually seems to happen to me when the original message is sent from an area where the service is spotty, like the beach. It's almost like the phone thinks it's an undeliverable message and keeps sending it.

had this problem with a blackberry at work, we had to pull the battery while the blackberry was on to clear it, pulling while the blackberry was off did not fix the issue, the phone had to be on, coincidentally it was a verizon blackberry...

Now that I think about it, this happened with my omnia and my buddy had similar issues with TMobile but it resending blank text messages.

Maybe it has to do with the carrier??

I had the same problem and was in a spotty area camping. I had many messages in the listing of unsent messages that I know did actually get sent. People kept telling me that they kept getting the same message over and over. When you are in an area where the signal is on and off, look to see if there is a listing of unsent messages and delete them. Chances are good if there is any service in the area the message went so you can delete them. Even when I came back into my home area and went back out, it continued to send when I was out of the area until I deleted them.
