I have a Sprint EVO and I love it, best phone I've ever had, only negative is awful battery, so I am SOLD on Android.

Questions >

1. I have 3 x T-Mobile lines for my daughters. One has a RIM Pearl that is on it's last legs, and 8 months from upgrade. I want to buy some type of Android phone off E-Bay to replace. Any "gotcha's"

2. Do T-Mobile android phones have SIM cards?

I wouldn't really recommend the G1 anymore since it's so old and won't be getting Froyo or even Eclair. I say that because there will be apps that can only support Eclair and up or possibly Froyo and up. So I would recommend the myTouch Slide if your daughters need a qwerty keyboard. Otherwise, the regular myTouch phones are just as good.

that is true it also depends on his daughters ages. most girls esp younger ones could care less about updates and prolly have no idea that they even exist

True, but if they see a friend with a cool app and find out they can't get it on their phone because it's not up to date. It could be annoying. Better to be safe then sorry, well, sort of anyways.
