make it stop vibrating!!

Updated my phone to 1.47 or whatever it is. Now my phone won't stop vibrating when I get a notification.

Volume is up. Vibrate for everything is off. Haptic feedback is off...

Rebooted twice...

Ffs make it stop!

I had to go into every little app and tell every one to not vibrate or do haptic feedback. I think I had to do it under the keyboard options too.

Mines not vibing and the alerts are alerting just because they want to for no reason at all. WE ARE SCREWED! This F@@king phone has been nothing but trouble since day 1.

Is yours version 003? Seems like most 002 people don't have problems, and most 003 people do.

Mine is version 002, never rooted, and I can't get it to vibrate anymore.

I must say mine's perfect and all I ever use is vibrate. I did load SMS PopUp when I first got it since I need recurring alerts to text messages until I ack them (IT and all the monitoring/management stations alert via text). The phone definitely is more responsive after the update and my battery life seems better but not enough time to say for sure on that. I took it off the charger yesterday at 18:00 and it still shows 76% at 08:00 this morning. Probably 40 minutes on the phone, dozen or so text messages (light night), and some playing with it. Then again, I haven't had an issue with battery life to begin with, low has been ~20 hours and high of almost 40. Typically several dozen text messages a day and I burn through ~1500 minutes of talk time a month along with general playing/looking things up on the internet. Mine is a version 002

Overall I am very pleased with this phone and I'm usually pretty particular. Just moved off an HTC TouchPro that was the most evil phone I've ever owned (and this goes back to the 80's). YMMV obviously.
