Help Screen Rotate Sensitivity

I was wondering if there is a way to turn down the sensitivity for landscape rotation... Sometimes when I just sit my phone down on my desk, even if I only turn it a little bit, it goes landscape. It's kind of annoying because then when I pick it up, I have to turn it landscape and back to portrait so the accelerometer picks up that I'm turning it. It seems too sensitive at times. Any suggestions?

Have you tried Re-Calibrating the G-Sensor?

Menu > Settings > Sound & Display > G-Sensor Calibration

Mine has same problem. It scrolls through icons on it own, and when typing moves cursor. Tried resetting g sensor multiple times. May be a bad phone?

The G sensor has nothing to do with scrolling nor typing. It only tells the phone which way it is oriented.

Sounds like you're having issues with the touch screen. Or maybe you're accidentally brushing the optical track pad.
