Root Fresh 0.3 for Evo is out

I know I posted this thread , but I don't actually have Fresh on my phone. I posted this so everyone Who wasn't aware of this would be aware of this. I wanted to wait for a froyo build.

Anyway, my question is, since the latest version increases the os speed even further, do you get aa higher frame rate with the camera? I know it is still locked at 30 fps, but I was wondering if the increased speed and resources would help the cameras issue any. Specifically, if it allowed for consistently higher frame rates? That would be nice if so.

You CAN'T use the unrevoked root for this ROM. It specifically says you can't on the fresh web site. Unrevoked is not a REAL root. You have to do a real root. Not the unrevoked version of root. And you have to NAND unlock your phone too. Complete instructions are at the web site with lots of good info. I know about the cap, was just wondering if this helped the Evo to achieve better frame rates consistently. I.e. ALWAYS getting the max frame rate even under poor light conditions.

Unrevoked has a new root out, that does NAND unlock also, if that dont work theres another 1 click simpleroot. You guys need to look elsewhere, this is a great site, but xda is your main site that will have all the devs working over there

Actually, no. The stage unrEVOked stage 2 doesn't unlock NAND.

unrEVOked 2 Released – Install ClockworkMod Recovery On Your EVO 4G, Incredible, Desire, OR Aria | Android News, Reviews, Applications, Games, Phones, Devices, Tips, Hacks, Videos, Podcasts - Android Police

Follow the link to their own site, where they say it's not NAND.

I've got Fresh 0.3 on my Evo and it's pretty awesome. When Fresh says that there are battery saving tweaks, he isn't kidding. This is the first real ROM that I've used, and right now my phone has been off the charger for almost 30 hours and I've still got almost 50% battery left. Granted that's light usage, but before I never would have made it that far even with the phone in stand by the entire time.

I highly recommend this ROM.
